This article from The National Patriot provides the most detailed analysis of the recent National Inquirer hit piece on Ted Cruz -- with allegations (no proof or claim to have proof). The smear piece in question states, “Private detectives are digging into at least five affairs Ted Cruz supposedly had.” “Digging into,” means they don’t have any evidence and “supposedly had,” means it’s all hearsay that wouldn’t stand up in court if not an out and out lie. The article traces the implicit dirty deeds of Mr. Trump's Pecker (National Inquirer) throughout the GOP primary campaign.
