After reading the article I find that it openly states that right now, today, as opposed to years ago, Trump has no obligations to the Saudi prince, who has reminded him that back then he invested in Trump properties, while investing, as the article recites, in an number of casinos as well as Trump’s. If Trump does not owe him anything today according to the article, I do not see that the prince “owns” Trump. Further, Trump has openly called for ending our oil dependence on Saudi Arabia so I fail to see where your assertion holds up. Further, the New Yorker is openly anti-Trump and is, it seems, willing to engage in poorly constructed and unsupported insinuation. Further, since the Prince owns such a large stake in Murdoch’s operation and 20th Century Fox, which are definitely not pro-trump, your assertion fails on another front.

Trump misted bowed down to him this election cycle. Did you miss that part? The Prince is still a significant investor in multiple Trump ventures.

Now imagine if Trump is elected and threatens to cut off the Prince’s oil revenue stream...
