But the order of finish doesn’t change, nor the distance between first and second.
Trump is in first and he’s far ahead.
In spite of all the teeth gnashing by Trumpsters, there is no argument on the Convention rules. It is simply “either or”. Either those long established rules requiring a majority of delegates shall be honored or your side somehow thinks Trump will get away with flaunting the Convention rules.
Whether or not Trump attains the nomination, he nor his followers (a minority of Republicans, by the way) have the power to destroy the GOP. If the GOP were to give in to Trump’s threats and “give” him the nomination even though he did not reach 1237, then that capitulation to intimidation is what will destroy the GOP.
