A lot of votes for the Who, “Live at Leeds”

I must admit that as a purely “pedestrian” “Who” fan I’ve never given this live show the attention that it deserves.

Listening now.

I would also recommend the “Live at the Isle of Wight” DVD. A lot of great songs that never made it to their studio albums, like “Water” and “I Don’t Even Know Myself”.

I have the 90’s remastered version and I use it when I’m reviewing audio equipment. It’s so dynamic and powerful it tests the mettle of the hardware.

cheers

Amazing Journey/Sparks from Live at Leeds is one of my all-time favorite musical moments. A guitarist, bassist, drummer, and singer working together as a band at their peak.
