Could me a lack of oxygen causing people to see things rather then magnetic and electronic anomalies.

A possibility to consider. Thanks! It would make sense.

That I understand. But according to those who experienced incidents in the vicinity also spoke of navigational equipment not working in a number of instances. Both magnetic and electronic. Could it be possible that more than 1 abnormality occurs at the same location? Possible but highly unlikely. JMO There are few coincidents. It's possible that one abnormality triggers another.

It wouldn't. But the bubbling gas would make the water less dense, and thus less buoyant, and a ship could suddenly sink.I know that water losing density can cause a ship to sink, but all they should have to do to confirm their theory is go down there and find all the ships sunk by the Earth Farts....right? :-)

I accept the remote possibility of something wacky being responsible, but extreme weather is the obvious answer. The only question I have is whether all disappearances resulted in no wreckage being left behind. Even in the wide open ocean, I would expect debris to turn up from at least a few wrecks.

Had no doubt that the gas causes disturbance in the water. Was only curious about the navigational devices (magnetic and electronic) not working properly. Which might have been explained on this post elsewhere. The theory is interesting but if there are those who still believe in Atlantis or UFO’s will they be silenced and content?
Thanks for the clip and your efforts. :-))

Huge trench running through the triangle .
In fact one of the deepest points in the Atlantic is just off shore of Puerto Rico. Only God knows how much wreckage is sitting in that trench.
They have spotted some of the lost planes though.

Interesting! Two years ago, a couple of expert swimmers drowned nearby when they launched their canoe too close to a dam. The canoe flipped, and they drowned while trying to swim just a few feet to shore. The explanation was that air bubbles in the water flowing over the dam reduced the density of the water. This caused the swimmers to lose buoyancy, and may also have contributed to the canoe tipping. They sank before they could reach safety. Just a small percentage of bubbles in the water can make it unswimmable.
I'm sure, though, that some will attempt to attribute the methane releases to Global Warming. Keep in mind, that the reputation of the Bermuda Triangle was gained long before Global Warming. A number of WWII training flights were lost there. It may be possible that methane in the air could also alter aircraft engine performance, causing the engines to run rich.
