Mine was for Ike in 1956 (Tricky Dick was his VP) - he took it by 86% against Adlai Stevenson.
Would that that would happen again with either of our guys.

I seem to remember they tar’d and feathered him on
1) He’s too old and senile
2) He’s an out of work actor
3) He will start a war with the soviets
4) Would you want a senile old man with his finger on the button
5) He was not “for the working man”
6) He was in a movie with a monkey (Bedtime for Bonzo) Not a serious candidate.
7) He can’t win - we have polls - he can’t win!

My first presidential vote was for the gipper in 84. I voted for Bush 41 in 1988 and for Bush 43 in 2000, did I get fooled on those two. The rest were votes against the Democrats.
