In an attempt to clarify our position, educate interested citizens, and move toward a reasonable and responsible resolution, we have built this website. For many years, individual neighbors and small groups of citizens have sought relief from the excessive gunfire from the gun range on The Almstrom Realty Trust property.
In February 2015, we began trying to work together. The learning curve has been steep, and there have been a variety of missteps on all sides. For many of us, this is our first experience with a dispute of this nature. We have tried repeatedly and unsuccessfully to address our complaints through the Police Department, the Building Inspector, and the Board of Selectmen. We’ve attempted to work with the Trustee of The Almstrom Realty Trust, and his legal representatives directly, hoping for a reasonable and responsible compromise. Little has been resolved, and the situation has only gotten worse. “
