This is the second post in a few days with a bash on Whole Foods, which last time I checked is a private company that does not force its customers to shop there.
Yeah there a hippy kind of place, and hippies talk hippy talk. A lot of the comments on the website are from customers, and being in retail I know that on a given day customers will say anything.
That being said, we have a Kroger and a Whole Foods across the street from each other. I go to both when I want to. Each has advantages.
Our Whole Foods is near Fort Jackson. I see soldiers there all the time among the ponytails of both sexes. No incidents.
I wear my Vietnam Vet cap & no one has called me `babykiller’ yet. It does get me vets’ discount at checkout.
Lots of affluent-looking women with presumably liberal views in WF. Things must be more laid back here in the South.
