I’ve never seen the show. But I think this show contributes to the cultural decline.
Why?
Because the name “Pawn Stars” is an obvious take off on the term “porn stars”. Whoever came up with that name thought he was being clever . And whoever agreed to the title obviously sees nothing objectionable with such a title of a show.
This show is one of the reason I seldom watch the “History” Channel anymore.
Did you ever notice how anyone featured in a porn movie is labeled a porn "star"?
Yet anyone featured in a regular release movie is not a "star"? Just an actor.
