Other History channel shows:

American Pickers, Mike & Frank knock on the door of a rural farm house, man answers, Hi we’re Mike and Frank. (Man doesn’t say what the hell is that camera guy doing)? Frank and Mike walk into house/barn/warehouse where a camera is already filming their entry. :-)

Counting Cars: (I do like seeing the cars)
Danny stops a driver in a cool car/bike driving in Vegas, talks about his great car/bike, can I take a test drive, sure gets in car where a cam just happens to be mounted, is filming him drive.

A&E doesn’t that stand for Arts & Entertainment? Most of their shows isn’t art or entertainment. Don’t they have a show now that a couple meet for the first time at their staged/filmed wedding?

I remember the early days of A&E when they actually were “Arts” and Entertainment. They used to show stage plays and stage musicals of all sorts including Shakespearian, classical and jazz music concerts, ballets, shows about artwork and books….

I also remember when The Learning Channel first came on the air. In those early days they didn’t have any original programing but would show educational programs that had originally aired on the BBC or CBC and many of them were really interesting. I also remember that early in the morning they would broadcast actual college lectures and even quizzes you could take at the end.
