Yes Trump did say that, but in context he really said what he always says, nothing, because he can talk 5 minutes about nothing because he is all over the place.

All of these reports are coming from sources that are enemies of conservatism. The New Times, CNN, MSN etc.
It's their own version of destroy from within. I have no doubt that there are workers in each campaign with liberal bias, and intent upon crippling the Republican Party from within. I see enough hate for the GOP and conservatives on this forum.
I also see posts that seem more intent upon causing conservative to lose faith and stay home, than voting their conscience. Posters have been demagoguing conservative candidates and the GOP since the 2014 election, which should have been a celebration.
The target is the one person (the President) that can veto any action by Congress, even passed by a majority and put on his desk. We've seem to have lost sight of the goal and are tearing each other apart.
When the primaries are over, watch how many posters will say they will stay home and not vote for the nominee, thus repeating what happened in 2010 and 2014.
Remember as long as you have open primaries, we will never get a truly conservative candidate. Crossovers and Dems who register to disrupt, will always help pick our candidates.
It seems a liberal version of Rush's Operation Chaos in 2010. They seek to destroy the most conservative, and paint them as unyielding, obstinate, and unable to work with the Democrats. It's like watching Zivago’s brother explain how he joined the Russian army to destroy Russia from within.
To our chagrin we may end up with exactly what they want. A Republican President who works hand in hand with the Dems. Or worse, we may get Socialist light (Hillary) or Socialist heavy (Bernie).

It was not like in Iowa where a single news source CNN posted on their Twitter account for 1 minute, quickly corrected it and the Cruz camp ran with it for 4 hours.

All of which got it from one source from CNN. And Cruz was criticized earlier today and called dirty for relaying the same thing Trump is relaying now.
Rubio made up the lie that it was Cruz, thinking that after Cruz being (falsely) accused and it being believed that he could make some gains, but it was probably Rubio’s own team.
Cruz’s Lawyers have already already sent Rubio a cease & desist because he is accusing them falsely. If you all recall, it was a Rubio fan, a journalist that heard the first call by Armstrong Williams that Carson was taking time off and he sent Rubio the tweet before 6>30 that night in Iowa. The CNN tweet went out about 6 minutes till 7. Rubio’s team had the info about Carson about 25 minutes BEFORE any other team knew anything. This is the LIAR!
