I did not render judgment either way. I am merely providing info instead of just spouting off. Personally, given his wealth and connections I think it highly likely that he used all legal means to avoid service.

Do you really not see that you are doing exactly what you are saying you are not doing all in the same paragraph?

Although to have been more correct, I probably should have said “I WAS merely providing...” That tense would have been more correct with the prior sentence.
