He was anti establishment during about the time Trump was supporting PP, giving donations to causes to take down the area Party and during the same time he expressed republican immigration stance was “mean spirited”

I don’t think you want to look at the history books. Former Bush admin official Ted Cruz was solidly GOP Establishment his ENTIRE LIFE up until the TEA revolution. Like other climbing and ambitious career politicians he self interestedly attached himself to our grass roots movement.
He’s been campaigning for POTUS since he arrived in the Senate. I was duped his beltway theater performances for many years but now I can see his careerism for what it is. Ted Cruz the man does not match the myth. Sorry.

Cruz has climbed on the backs of “conservative” rubes since he left the Bush campaign. He is one slick piece of work.
Before that he was one more constitutional lawyer who worked his way up, in the same manner as Obama and his resume.
