[VANITY] So What Does Your Get Tell You?,A Trump/Cruz, Cruz/Trump, Or A Cruz/Rubio Ticket?

Posted on 03/04/2016 5:51:52 PM PST by Cruz_West_Paul2016

Odds are most of us would settle for a Trump/Cruz ticket, that seems to be the ticket that would insure a landslide. But what is your preference? Which ticket would you prefer to take out Hillary in a 55/45 shellacking?

The very fact that you don’t know the law well enough to understand that a child born of AN AMERICAN CITIZEN (even when said Citizen is not in the USA), the child is still automatically a citizen.

There is no precedent being set.

Oh, stuff it! I am not alone in my justifiable opinion and your candidate clearly has a fatal handicap. I attempted to reach out to you in a gesture of goodwill. You sound like a fool to not even discuss it.

Let me show you the precedent. Suppose Cruz is nominated and elected. A few years from now a Muslim man in Saudi Arabia heavily in the oil industry takes an American wife. They travel back to the middle east and a child is born. By your flawed view he is considered a Natural Born American. The child, raised by his father as violently anti-American but comes back here, runs a flawless campaign with lies and deceit and is elected. This candidate could not be stopped because of the precedent set by Cruz. According to their arcane rules, if a Islamic is leader of a country it must become an Islamic nation. The destruction of The USA is at hand, and it is your hand.

Texas knows that it owes more to America than David Dewhurst or John Cornyn or Kay Bailey Hutchinson. Now, when a special election is held, it is up to Texans to let Senate candidates know that accepting $$$$$ or support from Mitchie McTurtle and his overlords will be regarded as the moral equivalent of videotaped child rape. If we are justly going to be an angry electorate, we ought to act like it.

Certainly, Greg Abbott and his Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick can influence the process (and make that race into a successful spring training for dumping Cornyn).

If Trump wants to make his bones by reigning in what passes for GOP "leadership" in the two houses of Congress, that would be a good demonstration project for his ability to fundraise and to influence voters. Then set priorities for a rolling purge of the quisling senators of states like Tennessee, Mississippi, Louisiana, Virginia, North Carolina (from Helms and East it has degenerated to Tillis and Burr?), Arizona, Orrin Hatch, Lindsay Graham, Claire McCaskill, Mark Nancyboy Kirk, Tammy Baldwin, and soooo many others. An appointment here, a resignation there, a scandal, primaries, whatever port in the storm. Play for keeps. Clean 'em out!

Biggmeister:

We have survived now for more than seven years of that situation under Obozo but he got elected without his father being millionaire or even a competent human being. I would not be surprised to learn that his father was sooooo "anti-colonialist" as to have become a practicing member of the machete-wielding Mau Mau before being killed while DUI. The precedent has already been set. People get what most of them or their chosen electors vote for. No system is perfect. There are many precedents as to candidates before Obozo as well. The courts, in light of Obozo and the commitment of our court system against Birther Nation's fantasies, are NOT going to rule as you wish. The rulings may say: The process were not properly served or filed or did not name a plaintiff with standing or we are not wasting time on this nonsense or your request is denied but the request WILL BE denied under whatever rubric.

Far better to work hard to elect your candidate and to defeat candidates you do not like than to ask courts of all things to exert lightning from the sky on behalf of anything perceived as a conservative election cause so that you can call down the zot on those you don't want from your easy chair.

Ted Cruz is not a Muslim. Marco Rubio is not a Muslim. If Obozo is a Muslim, even he has not tried to implement Sharia "Law." Barry Goldwater was not a Muslim (a baby-killing enthusiast but not a Muslim). George Romney was not a Muslim. He was probably left of Bernie Sanders and a Natural Born Mexican by Birther standards and STILL better than his son Moral Monster Mitt but neither is/was Muslim.

Any candidate can be defeated by rounding up enough votes for his opponent(s). I wanted Scott Walker but he was one of the first casualties (and not because of the magnificent job he has done as Wisconsin governor). I wanted Ted Cruz ad he may well not be nominated. As things stand, I can provisionally plan to vote for Trump in November unless I am badly alienated.

Birthers need a new set of priorities.

The precedent has already been set.

A precedent has not already been set because all the evidence we have is that Obama was born the the USA, and is not foreign born like Ted Cruz. A statutory precedent would be created by the election of Ted Cruz.

Seriously, I do not think it would get that far. The Democrat party would sue in Congress to nullify a Cruz election and it would be upheld. Yet, even before that, a Cruz nominee would face so many vehement attacks from Liberal Democrats through the campaign after the convention that the general election would be a fruitless joke.

I totally agree with you about the elder Obama being a criminal refugee of the bloody Mau Mau uprising. I read the novel, "Something of Value" (1955) when I was just a kid. The initiations and mutilation descriptions were horrifying. Can you imagine what they thought in Great Britain when they had to entertain the son of a vile murderous creature like Obama's father?

Oh, that book also reinforced my belief that any war must be total war. The British Military and the local militia were reduced, of necessity, to the same savage tactics as the Mau Mau in order to eventually win the revolt. Sadly, our political correctness prevents us from winning at all costs.

Trump's win at all costs attitude is to be greatly admired.

Before the Thursday debate, my wife was die hard Trump and I was for Cruz.

During the first part of the debate, I began to consider Trump as my choice, until the “Little Marco” charade by Trump.

Afterwards my wife now refuses to consider Trump as a choice, now leaning toward Kusich and I’m still in a quandry.

The debates are destroying the likelihood of any one candidate to be a successful Presidential candidate.

None of them are Presidential.

I found it. This paper goes into great depth and detail with all the footnotes in the world. You should know how to read dry research documents though.

You have to download it from SSRN Social Science Research Network.

“Do you really think the GOPe would hold any sway over Trump?”

Possibly, the worst being, they wouldn’t back him or not let
him on the republican ticket forcing him to run independent.
They will use a liberal cliche like, “that’s not who we are”
or “that’s not the way America is”. The GOPe is nothing
more than liberals pretending to be republicans. They lie
just as much to themselves as they do to others.

Nothing with Crubio on it.

Not only are Rs fed up with professional politiwhores, having either of them on the ticket will be a major turn off to independents and crossover Dems.

I want David Clarke as VP.

Trump has said he wants someone with some deecee experience to assist with mechanics. I think Clarke would be best in a DOJ position.

If there’s one thing no one can take deny about Trump, it’s his ability to choose the right people for the right job. I trust he’d choose a superb VP running mate.

I agree. I also am sure he will not pick any of the other R candidates.

Ignoring heinous crimes does not mean a precedent has been set.

From my profile page:

“In keeping silent about evil, in burying it so deep within us that no sign of it appears on the surface, we are implanting it, and it will rise up a thousand fold in the future. When we neither punish nor reproach evildoers, we are not simply protecting their trivial old age, we are thereby ripping the foundations of justice from beneath new generations.”

Naps I am going to predict that, if Tump loses or the GOPe screws him over we will lose the Senate, then it won't matter who we want for the Supreme Court.

One reason I am inclined to think Grassley will try to get a moderate on the court before the election is because I think they know the Senate is likely to go democrat. If the GOPe is successful in killing of Trump's bid, even if he loses fair and square it will not matter, because his supporters will not likely get on board the Cruz train.

We must unite soon and quit killing off our own or the Republic is doomed.
