Looking back I did alot of stupid things in those years that I have nobody to blame but myself. I’m lucky to be alive today. I guess the good lord was looking over me.
We all did stupid things, but that’s how you learn.
I one jumped from a tree fort 20 feet high out to a branch, the branch snapped and I fell to the ground landing on my neck and right shoulder, fortunately didn’t do any serious damage. To this day my brother reminds me I should be dead or paralyzed.
Once my 10 speed front tire got caught in railroad tracks as I was riding as fast as I could and down I went on my head, no helmet of course.
Once I raced a guy down a steep gravel quarry, got a broken arm.
Lots more misadventures, as I am sure most had, but no way would I trade times with today’s kids.
