“When the Senate and House have pretty much given Obama what he wants to the tune of $20 trillion in debt, more people on food stamps, record #’s of people not in the workforce, Ted Cruz is part of that failing system.”

You are completely nuts. Did you just live in a cave through all of his efforts to stop the GOPe from funding Obamacare and later fund Planned Parenthood? Do you just pop out to vote for president every four years and then try to catch up on the news with soundbites from the MSM?

“He and the Republican party are responsible for our porous borders and resulting crime.”

Cruz is strong on border enforcement. He made it clear where he stands on it by insisting that the first step of immigration reform is to enforce existing laws. If we had just a few clones of Ted Cruz in the legislature, this issue would already be solved.

“Cruz has done nothing other than flip on immigration”

Cruz has always been for enforcement, strict immigration laws, and no amnesty. He did not change fundamentally on that. The only change he made was becoming stricter on the abuse of H1-B Visas.

The gang of eight with Rubio and the GOPe would have passed except for Cruz fighting to stop it. We would already have amnesty if not for Cruz standing up against it. Do you not realize that?

“support TPA/TPP and sign the Corker deal.”

While I do not fully agree with Cruz on his foreign policy positions, they are not as you describe. I remember clearly when the Iran deal and TPA/TPP were being rammed through by Obama, Pelosi, and the GOPe. Cruz put forward the the Cruz-Toomey amendment to hold Obama accountable to Congressional oversight. He explained to his constituents that efforts to stop the bad deal with Iran did not work but he would keep fighting. He explained his vote at the time was, among other things, to ensure that Congress was able to debate the merits of the Iran deal. It was a loss, but it was a pragmatic decision to make the best of the hand he was dealt.

The TPA/TPP legislation as Cruz and Ryan envisioned would be a good deal for American jobs and economy. It includes Congressional oversight. Cruz still wants presidential trade authority but did not vote in favor of the TPA/TPP bill in the form it took. This is because of the changes that impacted immigration.

‘Cruz has always been for enforcement, strict immigration laws, and no amnesty.’

Haha!So funny! Cruz was the ONLY senator who teamed with Beck to throw a Foreign Invaders Welcome Party. They handed out free soccer balls and teddy bears to the throng of gang bangers—a crime wave waiting to happen. All Cruz did was let the rest of the foreign invaders know they’d be welcome.

Get real.
