I honestly don’t know. I just assume these folks are going to act like rabbits and if a few cents can prevent new ones then it may be cheaper than supporting babies with big bucks for life.

I don’t really judge what people do unless it costs me.

Ok.. You may not know, but I do. The number of single mother households has ballooned dramatically since women started taking the pill. The pill allowed men and women to think that sex now came without the possibility of pregnancy so have at it. “Folks” didn’t act like rabbits until the pill told them they could, so the cure you think costs only “a few cents” is actually the poison that is already taking the money from your wallet... and yes it is costing you.

Bad assumption. When people know that having sex will lead to babies they will have to struggle to support themselves, they have a lot less sex and with a lot fewer partners.

When they have the illusion that they can avoid the consequences of sex, or get someone else to pay for those consequences if they do happen, that is when they start acting irresponsibly, because they think they can get away with it.

When there are consequences, it encourages people to ask responsibly. No consequences encourages irresponsibility. Therefore, the development of birth control, legal abortion, welfare, etc, only increases irresponsible behavior.
