I HAVE ALWAYS DEFENDED LIFE! I defend certain aspects of an organization which has done a world of good around the world for almost one hundred years. It seems by doing so I reap the wrath of those who wish to ignore that good. You wish to destroy the entire organization instead of simply demanding they be defunded if they continue abortions, which Donald Trump has suggested. Tell me why you same people don’t demand the destruction of the United Nations en toto.

Exactly. If it were up to me every facility they have would be burned down and the ground salted. It's an effective way of dealing with evil - as opposed to making excuses for them and lamely claiming they do good. Evil never does good.

I HAVE ALWAYS DEFENDED LIFE!

No, you are defending the most genocidal organization in the history of the world.

I defend certain aspects of an organization which has done a world of good around the world for almost one hundred years.

Killing babies, promoting eugenics and endorsing promiscuity and homosexuality ARE NOT GOOD.

It seems by doing so I reap the wrath of those who wish to ignore that good.

You sound just like Hillary Clinton.

You wish to destroy the entire organization instead of simply demanding they be defunded if they continue abortions, which Donald Trump has suggested.

Yes, I want to DESTROY Planned Parenthood as surely as we destroyed the Nazis.

Tell me why you same people don’t demand the destruction of the United Nations en toto.

Conservatives DO DEMAND the end of the UN.

You are all over this thread supporting an evil organization rather than admitting that your candidate is wrong on this issue.

You wish to destroy the entire organization instead of simply demanding... blah, blah, blah...

The ghouls at Planned Parenthood are mass murderers.

Mass murderers are not praiseworthy.

Trump is an reprobate liberal, whose true colors are showing.

If you'll defend this, you'll defend literally anything. Anything at all.

You keep repeating yourself. Yet I still haven't seen a post in this thread where you actually described what you thought PP did that was good, or how in any way that 'good' even somewhat superposes the bad they do. Nothing about what 'good' they do, that isn't available elsewhere? You have one post mentioning 'patients' and number of visits, but that doesn't say anything about services. One abortion likely has several visits before the actual abortion. Several of those visits (from a couple people I know) are just to stop by and get their pill-pack for the month, which can easily be done at other places. You haven't refuted anything about their kiddie indoctrination, which involves the homosexual/pedophiliac stuff that wagglebee posted in post 66. When a woman comes into PP looking for a mammogram, PP refers her to another clinic, as PP doesn't do those. But I bet that counts as a 'patient'.

You wish to destroy the entire organization instead of simply demanding they be defunded if they continue abortions, which Donald Trump has suggested.

Yes, many do wish that, but that's not even what the main topic of discussion (usually) is. It's about getting rid of taxpayer funding for PP. If that is going to destroy their organization, then they need to find a better business model that doesn't depend on that money so much. The FedGov has no constitutional role in giving taxpayer money for this kind of thing (not just PP, but healthcare in general). The only place this argument even makes sense is on a state-level funding discussion. The only way you can really take this to a federal level isn't really one you'll like: the idea that the Constitution protects the life and liberty of all persons isn't usually even a level of discussion that we even get to. That's how far left the conversation has moved.

Tell me why you same people don’t demand the destruction of the United Nations en toto.

Actually, most of us fully support getting the US out of the UN, but that has nothing to do with the topic of this thread, which is why no one has mentioned it. Try clicking on any of these articles, and read through the comments. I doubt you'll see much, if any, support for the UN.

Oh, and just to preempt you here, while it may not be as strong/universal, there's plenty of people here who also want to drop NATO.

You do know that PP was founded by a eugenicist Margaret Sanger, right, who was praised by the Nazis. You do know that more African American babies are aborted than born in the home town of Mr DDT and abortion capital of the United United States?

http://www.blackgenocide.org/planned.html

“Margaret Sanger has been lauded by some as a woman of valor, but a closer look reveals that Planned Parenthood’s audacious founder had some unsavory things to say about matters of race, birth control, and abortion. An outspoken eugenicist herself, Sanger consistently promoted racist ideals with a contemptuous attitude.

Read on to learn why Planned Parenthood hides behind a false memory of Sanger, and why, despite her extraordinarily prolific writing career, one rarely sees her quoted by Planned Parenthood leaders and apologists.

“The most merciful thing that the large family does to one of its infant members is to kill it.”

Woman and the New Race, ch. 6: “The Wickedness of Creating Large Families.” Here, Sanger argues that, because the conditions of large families tend to involve poverty and illness, it is better for everyone involved if a child’s life is snuffed out before he or she has a chance to pose difficulties to its family.

“[We should] apply a stern and rigid policy of sterilization and segregation to that grade of population whose progeny is tainted, or whose inheritance is such that objectionable traits may be transmitted to offspring.”

“Plan for Peace” from Birth Control Review (April 1932, pp. 107-108)

Article 1. The purpose of the American Baby Code shall be to provide for a better distribution of babies… and to protect society against the propagation and increase of the unfit.
Article 4. No woman shall have the legal right to bear a child, and no man shall have the right to become a father, without a permit…
Article 6. No permit for parenthood shall be valid for more than one birth.

“America Needs a Code for Babies,” 27 Mar 1934

“Give dysgenic groups [people with “bad genes”] in our population their choice of segregation or [compulsory] sterilization.”

April 1932 Birth Control Review, pg. 108

“Birth control must lead ultimately to a cleaner race.”

Woman, Morality, and Birth Control. New York: New York Publishing Company, 1922. Page 12.

“We should hire three or four colored ministers, preferably with social-service backgrounds, and with engaging personalities. The most successful educational approach to the Negro is through a religious appeal. We don’t want the word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population, and the minister is the man who can straighten out that idea if it ever occurs to any of their more rebellious members.”

Margaret Sanger’s December 19, 1939 letter to Dr. Clarence Gamble, 255 Adams Street, Milton, Massachusetts. Also described in Linda Gordon’s Woman’s Body, Woman’s Right: A Social History of Birth Control in America. New York: Grossman Publishers, 1976.

“A woman’s duty: To look the whole world in the face with a go-to-hell look in the eyes… to speak and act in defiance of convention.”

The Woman Rebel, Volume I, Number 1

“[The most penetrating thinkers] are coming to see that a qualitative factor as opposed to a quantitative one is of primary importance in dealing with the great masses of humanity.”

Pivot of Civilization, 1922. Here, Margaret Sanger speaks on her eugenic philosophy – that only the types of “quality” people she and her peers viewed as worthy of life should be allowed to live.

“Such parents swell the pathetic ranks of the unemployed. Feeble-mindedness perpetuates itself from the ranks of those who are blandly indifferent to their racial responsibilities. And it is largely this type of humanity we are now drawing upon to populate our world for the generations to come. In this orgy of multiplying and replenishing the earth, this type is pari passu multiplying and perpetuating those direst evils in which we must, if civilization is to survive, extirpate by the very roots.”

The Need for Birth Control in America (quoted by Angela Franks.)

“Women of the working class [majority of DT supporters-huldah1776], especially wage workers, should not have more than two children at most. The average working man can support no more and and the average working woman can take care of no more in decent fashion.”
****

Children are blessings from God. We are created at conception. Life is a continual cycle, live sperm, live egg.

“Suggested”. An interesting “choice” of words.

As for the “good” Planned Parenthood allegedly does, and yes, they do offer services like annual GYN visits and perform PAP smears and breast exams (but not mammograms FWIW), and tests for STD’s, and allegedly “pre-natal care”, which from what I understand includes testing and sonograms and counseling that often results in an abortion, most of their revenues come from abortion and birth control. But without abortion and abortion related services (sale of body parts?) PP wouldn’t and simply couldn’t exist.

And also note that they do not provide any treatments for cervical cancer or breast cancer, only provide basic screenings, and refer those patients elsewhere for follow up and actual treatment and only offer limited treatments for STD’s, comprised mostly with Rx’s for antibiotics or referrals for treatment elsewhere.

Of course these health services and screenings are available elsewhere, often at facilities that do not perform abortions and at low or no cost for the uninsured or poor and these “good” services that PP provides make up a very small percentage of their total revenues. Most of their revenue comes from abortion and birth control services, including so called emergency contraception like RU486 and permanent sterilizations – both for women and men.

Planned Parenthood is also a big promoter of homosexuality and the LGBT agenda and promoting sex education to children, and while I am not against teaching age appropriate, biological and scientific sex and non-agenda driven sex education with parental permission and input, PP promotes books for educators and schools like “My Gender Workbook: How to Become a Real Man, a Real Woman, the Real You, or Something Else Entirely” and “Guide To Getting It On”. I would hope you don’t count those among the “good” things PP does.
