Dynamism is great but I’m talking about ideas that are rooted in our founding: proper Constitutional interpretation, respect for the separation of powers, scaling back the “dynamic” administrative state, respect for life and liberty. Without those dynamism doesn’t get us anywhere.

I voted fro Cruz, but would be content with Trump. Seems a lot of people who can’t comprehend supporting _both_, as each is imperfect and has particular strengths.
Cruz, yes, has the _doctrine_ down exactly right. I just don’t see the “got it done” history needed to make $#!^ happen in DC.
Trump, yes, says some worrying things; he’s still better on doctrine than any other viable candidate but Cruz ... but he has a decades-long history of “got it done” involving billions of dollars and lots of opposition.
I’m increasingly concerned that if we don’t get government spending under control very soon, all the other sociopolitical issues will be moot. Trump is the only one who has experience with making big stuff happen on time and under budget; the rest sound great to their audiences, but haven’t been particularly productive. We’re voting for an _executive_, remember.
