I think he only reads tweets. Obviously low info guy, probably why he doesn’t release his transcripts. But he can say wall.

Oh, I don’t know, my image of Samuel Adams is pretty darn bombastic !

I think we need a little more of Samuel Adams’ bombastic right now.

Right. But the country survived. That’s the point.

Trump will be hired for 4 year job. Some people tend to overcomplicate it and get too poetic.

That’s right, our founding fathers were not lions... They were giant lions with wings and foresight.

I have a lot of problems with Trump, but this is a pure reach. I happen to like the quote myself, I dont care if M. used it.

Bunch of wussified pansies all worried about it.

Our founding fathers led a war to expel England. They were not exactly pussy cats. They also had to fight to defend the constitution against royalists.

1 Peter 5:8
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.

We’ll get back to the Constitution AFTER cleaning up the NIGHTMARE that both Bush-43 and Obama has left this country in.

We had to do EXACTLY THE SAME in WW2, and we survived it.

They were removing lion rule and establishing “we the people” rule with only God as their Sovereign and the law as their contract.

OK...The quote from Mussolini is not really the point

It was exactly the point.

It was an attempt by Gawker to entrap Trump into quoting a fascist dictator. It backfired because it wasn't a Mussolini quote, it was from Italian soldiers in 1917 defending to the death their village from attack in WW1.

Churchill foresaw the threat not only from the rearmament of Germany in the 1930s, but the threat of Soviet expansionism after World War II. He was far more prescient and analytical than Trump ever could be.

In any case it’s a statement about living your life boldly and not as a timid follower. Much like Teddy Roosevelt’s statement about the man in the arena.

Yes, I understand that you are an expert on Churchill. So expert that you write 3 lines in reply.

The common factor between the two is grim determination to bring their nation to its full potential.

Just because you continually look for a savior does not mean I do. You are wrong about that.

Trump has accomplished much in business, and there is no reason to believe that he will not be a great president. He seems to have done quite well so far despite the continuous slings and arrows of detractors. When anyone steps forward to accomplish much, in the modern era, the attacks signify the potential for greatness.Quietude loves the mundane, and these are hardly the times for that.

Churchill stepped up when his country needed him. It is the same with Trump.

I am not a Trumpster... however, I do find the irrational reactions everyone has to his tweets or statements incredulous. The one thing Trump understands better than anyone, is how to manipulate the media... and in that I mean so that they give him Free air time in exchange for ratings. The overreaction to him, which gives air to the Trump=Hitler memes is pathological.
Let’s pretend for a moment, Trump is Hitler. And? Is our system of govt set up to support a fascist? I would argue that Obama has already attempted to take us down the road of fascist socialism, and that was only possible because of a complicit democratic congress. So do you believe the republican or democratic congress would support a Hitler? I also do not believe merely holding a nativist view is what designates you as a fascist. Supporting the idea that the federal government directs the means of production, is what ultimately directs control to a totalitarian system.
The Mussolini quote is actually a great quote, and not his originally... the fact Trump tweeted it, is sticking his finger in the eye of the left.

Moreover while getting out his own message he so distracts his opposition that they forget to get their own message out. What does Rubio stand for? Marco may know - he doesn't - but we certainly don't. Foam boy is so distracted about worrying about his manhood that he doesn't tell us what he would do.
