Actually dear friend, Mr Trump received 4 (that's right,four) deferments. He was eventually classified as 1-A, took his induction physical, and reclassified as 4-F (medically unfit). This was very common for the wealthy during the Vietnam years.

That said, Mr. Trump has now been given a clean bill of health by his physician.

Isn't it amazing that the absence of a military conflict could cure his medical condition.

Trump prides himself in honoring his commitments, so I don’t know where you’re coming from.

He didn't honor his commitments to his first 2 wives when he publicly cheated on them, or honor the commitments of other women to their husbands when he committed adultery with them. He has a history of not honoring his commitments in business - just ask the illegal Polish immigrants who were cheated out out pay and retirement benefits working on Trump Tower ( you may not agree, but a court did to the tune of a million dollars or so). Trump claims he honors his commitments, but his life demonstrates the opposite - so you believe what he says, and not what he does...

No, I choose to not support him, and to persuade as many people as I can to oppose him now, and if he gets the nomination, to sit on their hands or vote third party in the fall. If you want an immoral, immature, unethical man as your standard-bearer, that is your right. But if Trump gets the nomination, I will watch with some grim satisfaction as Trump and his supporters beg all of the people they are now insulting and demeaning to vote for him against Hillary...
