What I’ve come to realize is that Trump’s strongest support comes from the Gotterdammerung wing of the Republican Party; they’re more loyal to Trump than to the truth, and they’re fist goal is to destroy the Republican Party. That there is nothing waiting in the void but the Democrats doesn’t matter to them. Somehow they believe the best way to beat Hillary is to destroy any opposition to her and the Democrats.
