No. You're just trying to plausibly undermine credibility.
NO candidate gives comprehensive details for ANY plan they propose. Most Americans wouldn't have the background to properly evaluate said plan even if they did. And they damn sure wouldn't have the sophistication to discriminate between "the plan" and what the opponents of the plan would promulgate by way of "damage control" and/or oblique attack.
But in reality, you're coming at this the wrong way; it's not that people trust Trump to do what he promises, it's that they trust the others NOT to do what they promise.
