I’ve always admired Cruz for his conservative positions. But I think this style of attack-dog campaigning is proving to be a detriment for him. I had more respect for him when he was campaigning as a gentleman.

Oh boy Cruz attacked trump when Trump was off-stage. I think he jumps way past my threshold for bravery. I think I’ll make that a meme #GodGutsGloryPhonyBraveryJingoistsicMoron. We can discuss how talking behind someone’s back after a debate qualifies as a reason to vote for someone. I am kind of enjoying smug, glib Cruz supporters getting their as* handed to them primary after primary. So of them I do worry about, like a few getting all nuts and holing themselves up in a national park somewhere with carbon fiber assault rifles and adopting a group name containing the name “Patriot” in it, babbling about some 1950’s America where a perpetual white Protestant right wing hegemony was the only way to go.

If Ted Cruz had remaining above the fray and stayed out of the Rubio/Trump cat fight, he’d be better off than having joined in. I thought it was beneath Cruz to behave as he did. Rubio was an arse-hole and Cruz wasn’t much better. Trump was getting it from both sides AND CNN, what was he supposed to do?
Cruz is as full of sh*t as a Christmas turkey. Trump was a businessman and gave money to all politicians, but the majority went to republicans. This weasel Cruz is an amnesty pimp who was one of GW Bush’s main lawyers drafting amnesty legislation. He of course now denies it. The most effective line last night was when Trump let the world know that not the first one of 49 senators that Cruz works with thinks he’s qualified to be president. Cruz had no comeback because it’s fact.
Unfortunately, Cruz is a lying scum. Now he is circling down the drain, cursing Trump, as if his problems weren’t his own doing.
Sorry, I probably should sit back and let Cruz destroy himself, but all this lying and smearing is really getting old.
