My suspicion is that many Trump people are mostly secular in their world views, and that Cruz is just too “Christian†for them. Seems to really bother them.

Don’t claim to be pious, make millions and then give basically nothing to charity. Don’t claim to be a consistent conservative and then campaign for the trade agenda of the most lawless POTUS in history. Etc., Etc. Understand?

Before Ted announced, I said, here on FR, that Ted (the constitutional expert) knows he’s ineligible, so he won’t run. I thought his integrity would force him to admit that he couldn’t run. I was quite surprised and disappointed to find out that he was just another power seeker, integrity and the constitution be damned.
