Yeah, that’s a low bid contract right there.

Interesting how they couldn’t make a non-profit hospital stay in business, that’s too bad.

Well, there’s more to the story. It was a hospital started by a family of doctors which eventually became a “family foundation” running it. It’s a long and sordid story with lawsuits and squabbles among the family members and ending with a loss of certification.

Then the charity board just dissolved itself and walked away.

A fairly detailed history.

What a shame. I take it there were better options? It doesn’t look like a very big place or that it had an emergency department.

It’s always good to get back to nature, weather its the woods or the beach or a garden or just in the backyard with your feet in the grass.

I have really gotten to enjoying a fire in my back yard with friends and a six pack or two. We always have a way of overdoing it though.

They did have an ER, but there was a Catholic-run hospital less than a mile away. I never set foot in the Monsour place.

I had a street in my backyard in Piedmont, CA named Sylvan Way. Far from being a beautiful woods, it was just an old alleyway with guest houses made out of unused garages and an escape route for juvenile delinquents on the run from the local PD. It turned at the back corner of our property and went down a very steep hill. It was accessed from the front of our property by steps and a”public path”. It was creepy.

I still choose to live without a good stuff in a sylvan setting than have everything convenient in a city- at least there is no traffic, no noise-and no liberals for miles...

People in the sylvan places
Don’t hesitate from telling
Democrats that we don’t buy
The garbage they are selling

Hillary wants us all unarmed
And herded into some village
Make is all into worker bees
As she and Bill burn and pillage

Bernie says that only the “rich”
Will ever pay but that’s untrue-
All who work will pay for others
Living way better than me and you

Thank you! I’ve always thought they lived in a different environment, but now I’m pretty sure they live in an alternate reality...

Since I had invoices to do, I decided to wait until I got home to eat lunch-tuna, a boiled egg and some romaine lettuce-the cats started begging when they smelled tuna, of course, so I gave each one a bit of tuna and egg on a paper towel. Yeti boy and Midget girl happily ate it right away, but when Titus bit into a piece of egg, he made a terrible face, spat it out and only ate the tuna-it never occurred to me that a cat would not like fresh egg-it is an ingredient in some of the cat food I buy, and he eats that...

All 3 are shelter cats-I got Yeti-a pet given up by someone mentally ill, and the Midget-who was feral-as adult cats, and Titus was a kitten about 8 weeks old-all or mostly Persian, and obviously a lost pet. They all like weird food of some sort-Midget girl likes sunflower kernels, and Yeti boy loves yogurt-he will eat the plain greek kind, but prefers strawberry or peach...

I know that, but I’m not sure they are aware of it-SG and I both call our pet felines our ungrateful shelter cats...

My #3 daughter’s cat, which has become mine (ugh) at least comes up and nuzzles my chin for a few minutes before tearing off my belly with her 4-wheel drive claws. OUCH!!

She gets dry food. That’s it. My # 2 daughters boyfriend likes to give her canned stuff, and I swear I can see her getting fat in a week!

Her name is Tobi. A girl cat named after Toby Keith. The kid is weird.

Wood that the RINO’s would simply slide sweetly and silently into the sylvan sities..... But they won’t. And we will find it easier to kill vampires with sylvan-type stakes.

I’ve mixed the dry food with about a tablespoon of their favorite canned food ever since a vet told me it was the healthiest thing for cats to have both-that was nearly 20 years ago-it doesn’t make them fat-any food will do that if you overfeed your pet.

Midget girl and Titus are so affectionate they are self-propelled lap ornaments—Yeti boy-a Maine Coon who weighs 22 pounds-is a bit more independent-but when he decides it is his turn to sit on the chair and watch TV with me in the evening, he refuses to share with the other two.
