I didn’t think the British knew what a real double bacon cheeseburger was. When I was in England several years ago, there was a chain of hamburger joints called Wimpy, which lived up to its name, as its burgers were pretty wimpy by American standards.

Things have changed fast over the last few years with regards to food.
If you want the best fast food in town always ask the locals, it is often a small independent shop , van ,or Pub not a large chain.
Haven’t seen a Wimp in years. TkFk.
