Matt Walsh must have abstained from common sense during Lent.
Trump has that wow factor that is the only way to beat Hillary. The democrats will make mincemeat out of Rubio or Cruze or any other GOP office holder. There were fake precincts in iowa that added fake votes to put Hillary a few percentage points over the top. The people who count the votes refuse to show how the votes were made. This is just iowa. The dems have figured out how easy it is to flip the five swing states they need to win any thing.
All she needs is two percentage points in minority inner city district in 5 swing states and she wins. Without a lowered dem turnout due to lack of enthusiam and the GOP is toast.
No one wants four years of the wicked witch of the west in the white house.
I think the points in the editorial have some merit to be honest (I’d be lax if I didn’t say that) but this, what you posted, is funny. Fun stuff right there thanks for the laugh.
I don’t think it’s looking too good for Cruz, the only viable non-establishment candidate left (other than Trump) so I, as a realist above most else must acknowledge this. We shall see, but after Super Tuesday, I think I may take a break from FR and current events in general, to return right before the Convention and then the election. I won’t see much point in discussing the news of the day after that.
I will quietly vote for Cruz in the primary, if he’s still in by the time mine rolls around, and in the meantime try to wrap my mind around the thought of voting for a man as described here. Won’t be much of a choice. Can’t have Hillary or Bernie no matter Trump’s faults.
Of course it won’t be much of a vote in Maryland. It’s not like this state will vote for any Republican. (Although we did vote in a Republican governor recently).

A guy who’s gotten into public fights with Ted Cruz, George W. Bush, and the Pope, then backed down on all of them like the coward and wimp that he is.
Trump supported TARP and 0bama’s stimulus.
He was talking about giving illegals a path as recently as August and has supported a plan that is virtually identical to “touchback†amnesty.
He supports using eminent domain for private gain instead of public use.
His buildings have been built by illegal immigrant labor.
He supported radical Democrat mayor Bill (Warren Wilhelm) DeBlasio.
He called self-deportation ridiculous and offensive.
He has donated much more money to Democrats than Republicans.
In the first Republican debate last year, he praised socialized medicine; he now says he’ll cover everyone and “the government will pay for it†— and if you don’t agree, you’re heartless.
He boosted his liberal pro-abort sister as an excellent choice for the Supreme Court.
He attacked Scalia for a ruling on affirmative action.
He called Pat Buchanan a “Hitler lover.â€
He boasts about his many affairs, some with married women.
He threatens to sue people for disagreeing with him.
He says he’ll revoke 0bama’s executive orders, but “I’ll do good ones.â€
He called Ben Carson a “psycopath†and questioned Dr. Carson’s faith. He also questioned Ted Cruz’s faith. Then he got upset (rightfully) when the Pope questioned his faith.
He called Cruz a “maniac.â€
Meanwhile, sitting with Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski, Trump blathered incoherent, solipsistic nonsense and even admitted (at a confused moment) that he supported the retention of ObamaCare.
The liberals can deal with Trump. He’s malleable. Cruz will fight them tooth and nail and move the window in our direction as far as he can.
Trump is a “progressive”.

I’ve never seen Deadpool either. Never even heard of it. I was asking about a movie called Idiocracy which is a comedy about how far society will one day sink and it’s getting pretty close to where we are now. Hilarious movie.

I couldn’t help it, I thought it was funny. At first I wanted to say “Brevity is the soul of wit, Matt,” but it turned out I was wrong. :D
Ugh, primaries. By the time we had our primary in 2008, it was down to McCain and Huckabee. Everyone else was out already. I didn’t vote for McCain, but it’s still hard to say “I voted for Huckabee.”
I used to respect back but lately I’ve decided he ate too many lead paint chips as a child in then boozing his brain to death in adulthood didn’t help at all!

No, I don't think you want to see that movie, neither do I. Filth beyond Hefner or Larry Flynt, but they would enjoy it immensely. So would Trump, I base that on how he speaks and uses vulgarity at will on anyone, so then too his supporters would enjoy it as well.
It's sad, reaslly. I always considered FReepers above average in intelligence and discernment. I can't tell you how disappointed I am to see how many have been taken in by a con man.
