I remember Ralph Nader, and he undoubtedly spared us from a Gore presidency; hard-core Dems couldn’t convince his young supporters they were throwing away their votes, and Nader himself egged them on by saying Gore & Bush were basically the same.
I guess liberalism really is a mental disease, and I thought it was bad here on the Trump v. Cruz threads. Those a play school compared to that.
ROFL! You need to go back and gather up a lot more of these if there’s any to be had. It’s hilarious and I could read these all day. :)
Heh. The people of this planet are probably not what you think they are. It is a crazy, mixed up place. There are substantial subcultures right under our noses, and unless you "get in" with them, you would not even know they exist.
you should watch the tears flow on the video here:

bernie volunteer worked a phone bank and called people in the south. you know, the area of the country most affected by the flood of illegals.
but the tears... the tears... so good with my monday morning coffee
Interesting. Most on this board (myself, as well) are of the opinion that the democrat party is more united than the gop. Hillary seems to be hated more by some of the democrat persuasion than republican.
It was Hillary care in the 90’s that caused the democrat majority in the house to be lost for the first time in 40 years. She is bad juju.
We’ve got to convince these Bernie supporters to hang tough and keep fighting. I don’t want to see Hillary wrap up the nomination too soon. The longer Bernie stays in the race, the more Hillary has to spend money that she planned to save for the general election. Also, the longer Sanders stays in, the resentment towards the DNC by his supporters will continue to build. If they feel their beloved Bernie was screwed over by the DNC, they won’t come over to the Republican side, but many of them may just stay home in November.
It’s still disheartening to me that so many in this country are willing to live on the socialist plantation.
Since they’re learning this from the education system, maybe we need to cut education spending about 75%.
>vInstead of locking horns on FR over Trump vs Cruz, FReepers would be more effective at posting as arrogant Hillary supporters on Leftist sites
AND ENCOURAGING THE MOVEMENT FOR BERNIE TO FORM A THIRD PARTY.
Wait until Hitlery wins via super delegates, or yet another coin toss or card draw in her favour. These delusional people are going to riot.
In the end, at least they’ll either stay home on election day, or vote for Trump, for revenge.
“manage their money”
Perhaps the most interesting thing to note in this. These folks, obviously younguns, are taking their online-life of blogging more seriously than reality.
The down-side of the internet to be careful about, how it can capture your attention and skew your perception.
“The way these people apparently manage their money, no wonder theyâre voting for Bernie.”
Exactly. It seems they are all young millennials with no money who expect Bernie to support them from his ‘stash.’
The internet can be a deceptive means of simulated action. Activist-minded folk can deceive themselves that they’re doing something about an issue by merely talking about it in cyberspace and stirring outrage. Meanwhile in the real-world of meatspace, nothing of actual constructive value was accomplished.
This bunch will survive too, and vote for Hillary in November.
Yup. Thought that was a funny read.
- Has Mexican maid
- Supports Bernie Sanders
- Upset maid voted for Hillary
- Ready to toss maid for heresy
This person obviously never connected the fact the in Bernie’s world she’s the enemy. Ain’t nobody gonna have a maid!
“meatspace”
I like that one!
On the positive side of the internet, I get to pick up terms like this, which fit well w/my humor, and thereby spread joy in my personal interactions.
Hah, glad you like it.
Yeah, the Internet isn’t wholly useless by any means. Been exposed to many interesting ideas & perspectives, and conversed with intelligent people I wouldn’t have met otherwise. All of which has definitely enriched my mind.
Yep
