I have no illusions about Trump. He's probably socially extremely liberal, though I believe he's (mostly) against abortion. I'd bet good money he has no moral objections to homosexuality and that his Christianity is about as deep as the average mainline protestant who makes an appearance at church twice a year, plus weddings and funerals.
But I do have faith in Trump's love for himself. His ego will motivate him to keep his word on his most popular promises: Close the borders, make tough trade deals and get the economy moving again. Only the last one is iffy, simply because Trump is no economist and there's a lot of bad advice even on the conservative side of the fence.
But closing the borders is so important I really don't care about much else. End the invasion and we'll have plenty of time to move the culture back towards the right side of social issues. Leave them open and we'll be like Sweden, overrun with savages with the American minority apologizing for being alive.
And if he is unable to achieve that, what are you left with?
