They didn’t mean that one female parent could move to another country, live there and be married to a Cuban national, give birth, receive a Canadian birth certificate, live in Canada with the child until he was 4, then move to the USA where they did not apply for US citizenship for Ted until 1986 when he was in high school (obviously they knew they had to formally make him a citizen at this time for college and housing etc.) and of course Ted pretended not to know anything about his dual citizenship until 2013. My point was that you have elected to put your own interpretation on what the founding fathers said and meant, which puts you in the same category as revisionists of the constitution. If you can not supply an actual ruling or adjudication, then your opinion is worth what anyone else’s is. And you shouldn’t YELL, lest someone think you were insane. To express your opinion is OK, but when you make it personal and shout out because someone doesn’t agree with you, then you demonstrate the tendencies of whom you support. you are proving the point of the thread - the Free Republic used to be a place to discuss conservative issues logically and with respect. Now it has digressed to a forum that is used for people trying to shout out any supporters of candidates that they do not agree with. The effect that you wanted to have is just the opposite - I do not support any candidates at this time, but you make it difficult to support Trump, because your support is based on emotion, and not a logical argument. If you try to make an argument, please base it on a fact, not on ‘Trump said’.
