Yes one would think so. They used to have “Hot Shoe” sandal type that went over the shoes to protect the heel and the rest of the bottom. I know some Drivers didn’t like them due to loss of pedal feel but burning your foot off seems much worse to me!
At the least they could put a heat shield on the floor and under the floor as well.
Or design a “Cool Boot” ?
HECK DO SOMETHING !!! God only gave us 2 feet from the factory and as I just got reduced to 9 toes I know if I was driving SOMETHING would be figured out...
