I looked up "poutine" for ya and it's NOT what I've seen here in the states. Wikki says that it's French fries with cheese curd on top and everything then covered with brown gravy.

I've had "poutine" in Florida, in a high priced, chi chi restaurant, but they omitted the cheese curds.

That cake at the link looks good. :-)

Poutine [I believe] is an acquired taste. I don’t happen to love it like most people do. I think it is too greasy. Kinda bland.

It’s a hearty dish made up simply of French fries, fresh cheese curds, and brown gravy. It is famous for its *day after* curative powers.

Does anyone care? I think Trump may own a links course on Cape Breton. Cabot Links?
