Beck will go ballistic after reading this post and will ramp up his unjustified attacks against Donald Trump, me, my faith, and you – for acknowledging all this I’ve outlined, in his own words… what’s smart about that?
What Canadian? Oh, you mean that guy who was born in Canada that renounced that citizenship and is now an illegal in Canada, who has no Canadian ancestry. Ted Cruz is a Cuban American who was only born in Canada where he gave up his citizenship. He no longer has any heritage ties to Canada. Duh.
Beck is not a Republican...that per his own words....and not and Conservative... that per his own words.... he repeatedly started that he quit both.... he a "Libertarian" now (or what he thinks is Libertarian).. he has stated that.. he gone Libertarian LEFT for some years
Cruz did that exclusively himself.
Time will tell, but I believe that honor goes to "Ted Cruz for President".
With Ted making his the face of Conservatism and himself its true standard personified, not to mention all other candidates in comparison being simple posers at best or charlatans at worse, "Ted Cruz for President" is what is "destroying" Conservatism.
Conservatism isn't a cult of personality, especially not a cult built around someone as flawed as Canadian-born Ted Cruz.
It's the same old, same old once again this election season, but hopefully we'll get it out of our system early and can get beyond it.
People always will disappoint, but principles and the Father from Whom those principles flow will never disappoint.
Unfortunately for his cultists, Ted Cruz is just a lawyer with a billable integrity and theirs is now tainted by their willful association.
The last thing Ted Cruz is is a cult of personality.

Fwiw, political infatuation is a nasty thing once it has you by the short ones, easily just as bad as or worse than the other forms of infatuation.

I don’t know why Beck has a problem with Sarah, but it’s not the first time he’s insulted her.
The first time I remember, it was Beck along with Ann Coulter trashing Sarah, having the best time at her expense, making fun and hee-hawing on Beck’ radio program.
Since then, I can’t stand either one and change the channel whenever they’re on.
Trump is destroying the Media DeathStar, thereby SAVING the conservative movement. :)
What is so wrong about that? The conservative leadership in the GOP have given Obama every thing he has demanded. I predict they will give him a Supreme Court Judge before the election is over.
Truth is I think they may try to defend against an even worse choice if they lose the Senate and that is not totally unlikely considering how they have caved to Obama at every turn.
Some are saying that the shadow of Governor Palin helped immensely in conservative South Carolina.
