Missing aunts and uncles. It is sad. I hope that she has found forgiveness from Our Lord.
She has repented, and will see God. I am sure of this.
Our God is a good, God full of grace and mercy. He asks us to uphold His word. We have all sinned.
Repentance is the first step towards salvation. It is not a guarantee against punishment.
I once read the memoirs of a nurse who attended a young woman who was dying sometime in the 30s. The woman screamed and wailed not from pain but in fear because her husband had demanded she have five abortions and now that her personal judgement day had come she was afraid. The woman was too hysterical to repent and died screaming. The husband denied everything, left the hospital and never returned.
