It is truly mind boggling. This is the same site tht purged Rudy fans. I personally like Trump, but he is not a conservative. He is right on immigration, Muslims, and I like his tax plan, but he is so off base on so many issues, it’s simply a non- starter. For example, he said his sister would make a great SCOTUS. I have argued cases before her. Left wing to the core.
Free Republic has changed a LOT since about 2007 or so. I miss the good old days of FR (which for me started in 2000).

That is really lame. He was making a family Joke, if you were honest you would mention the Justices he said he would like to duplicate.
1) Rudy ran as an open social liberal. That doomed his candidacy. Trump is not.
2) Trump is running against the GOP establishment and its donors. Gouliani was funded by and part of the GOP establishment.
3) This nation hadn't gone through seven years of an anti-American President trying to transform the nation through legal and illegal immigration.
He was complimenting his sister, who would bee 80 if elected.
He has used ONLY conservative justices as examples of his ideal for SCOTUS.
You picked a poor example since just a couple of days ago he said he made that comment with tongue in cheek...He and his sister are far, far apart on political issues...And we who support Trump and watched him make the comment initially knew he wasn't being serious...
So how about you inform us of the other many issues Trump is off base on...We think we are supporting a winner; a Patriot with some really conservative positions for the direction we need to go in...
