by any objective measure Rudy is far more consistently conservative than Trump.

Nonsense. Rudy was an open social liberal.

Boiled down, you’ve compromised your Conservative ideals.
Good to know.

[Facepalm.] What is your goal here? To win the Gold Trophy for Best Conservative Ideals as the Titanic sinks?

I’m hoping to be able to use my conservative ideals again in a free republic, not die with them.

It’s like he says everything but answer the question. It’s so obvious he doesn’t want facts that he can’t refute put in front of him so he rants and gets rude.

I’m telling you the truth.

Detractors think that video is the worst thing they’ve ever seen. Supporters see it as him really being able to go fix what’s wrong with this country and make deals for US, not THEM.

Flame away if you like, I don’t care.

I’m holding him to the standard of a Christian he claims to be.

This cr@p is straight out of Alinsky.

If I remember correctly Tancredo is still talking about the insanity of not enforcing our border and immigration laws.

I wish he was still in DC but I think he is trying to help build the Constitution party in Colorado.

, he said his sister would make a great SCOTUS.

He was complimenting his sister, who would bee 80 if elected.

He has used ONLY conservative justices as examples of his ideal for SCOTUS.

Arrogance. People just can’t admit they were wrong about Donald Trump being a credible candidate worthy of support.

Trump has strong liberal creds. I think you are as misinformed as Rubio. Ted can swim. He’s just not an arrogant blowhard about it.

Remember how it was soundly bashed when Hutch was flogging it around?

Same old bad policy, just a slicker salesman.
Trump uses his wild actions and comments to quickly change the focus of the discussion.

Bad analogy but it is all can think of tonight. Cruz at this time is unable to attempt to save the country. Even though he is a true blue conservative. Trump has a chance, no one can be sure, of being able to turn this around; he’s made all the right enemies. But he does not have strong conservative creds.

This is my view of Cruz. An honorable man, but does not have the mojo to win in the General. He does not inspire. His ideas inspire, but he is not a natural leader. He does not have that aura. (Although he tries to wear a halo—sorry I couldn’t resist)

Trump is playing the battering ram. He’s curt, abrupt and has a mound of shortcomings-of all this I will admit. But he is the only non-GOPe candidate that has a sliver of a chance to get through the fraud that will be the RNC convention. Can you imagine, it will be 1968 double. Both on the R and D side. Cruz will have no chance in hades to get through what is planned at the convention. He won’t even have enough delegates to get the first ballot. But suppose that he did...the RNC plans to change the rules so the the delegates are not bound on the first ballot and plan to do a secret ballot to insure the outcome. Rule 37 I understand. Cruz will sulk and go back to the senate. Trump on the other hand will be like an enraged bull and probably rip the whole establishment apart and then launch a nationwide write-in campaign.

I agree with you 100 percent OneVike, FR did used to be a conservative forum, but now if you say anything bad about Trump, the Trumpetts are coming after your children! They can not see what a chameleon he is! Trump has managed to take advantage of the anger in this country after 7 years of Obama! They will just dismiss the flip flops of Trump over the years, so they just take another drink of the kool aid and keep following him!

Ted Cruz is eligible to be President of the United States and the Naturalization Act of 1790 would clear it up really quick for you. So spare me already when your candidate backs the Kelo judicial atrocity and a ban on so-called assault weapons. As for New York values, look no further than Trump’s interview with NBC in 1999 although he acted like he had no idea what Cruz was talking about. Cruz has never waivered on abortion, planned parenthood, or other social issues but feel free to insinuate otherwise.

The Constitutional requirement is 'natural born'... NOT naturalized citizen... Cruz has yet to show any records other than a 'natural born Canadian citizen'. NO act of Congress or a court ruling can give or take US natural born citizenship. Only two US citizen parents giving birth to a child on US soil. Cruz was born in Canada, and his father only became a US citizen in 2005.

I am not the ignorant one here on the Constitution... and Harvard Law Schooled lawyer Cruz knows exactly what is required... He just thinks he is entitled to have what his parents did not give him.

Some people are just born to be deceived....

.. you are so friggin clueless ..

Baa haa. Not so funny, when you're on the receiving end?

Let's see a pic of your kids, so we can compare them to Don Jr and Ivanka.

Let's see your CV, so we can get a sense of proportion vis a vis Trump's career.

And most importantly, let us know what public offices you've run for, which campaigns you've donated to and how much, and what you've done in defense of American values.

Then we'll know how qualified you are, to smear Donald Trump.

My goal?

My goal is to be true to myself and my principles.

FR used to be populated with principled people. Now, less so.
