They just blocked traffic and commerce for a long tine. And I remember the police allowed the protesters to continue even after the riots and destruction of private property.

To be accurate that was the New York police who made that decision.

To be fair they should have arrested every one of them.

If we can agree on that then how can you say the same should not be true for those who occupied the federal facility?

The current occupiers occupied a “federal facility” that was not interfering with anyone. Maybe there were a few people who were inconvenienced by it but not thousands of folks trying to get to their jobs, businesses that couldn’t operate, trash, drugs, even rape.

As for the New York police — a liberal government directed the police. Likewise for the recent riots where violence was rampant. Wondering how many people were arrested? Especially for arson. Isn’t arson a federal crime?
