When I was 40, I was in the best shape of my life. I lifted more weights at longer reps than I ever had before, and still weighed what I did when I was 21. I turned 50 and parts started to fall off. When I was in college, “pulling an all nighter” meant staying up until sunrise to write a paper. Now “pulling an all nighter” means not having to get up to pee.
Yeah, 50 was really different from 40. 40 was like 30. 50 is not like 40 at all. Now I’m 53. My grandmother is 98. So that makes me only middle aged. Ha Ha. Wait, 50 is already considered middle age. Damn, joke-telling is even more challenging after 50!
