I’m glad to see that Titanic II has a bigger lifeboat capacity.
Still, taking a cruise on a ship named the Titanic would seem to be asking for trouble.

Good that they added an additional 1600 lifeboats...
Have the locks been removed from the escape routes out of steerage?

Uh....it is being built in a shipyard in China. Should this be a concern?

I love the period look and Edwardian and Jacobean feel of the new liner.
It makes it feel warm and inviting. You feel like you’re living in 1912.

I went to see the exhibit of the Titanic when it came to a museum where I used to live. It was fascinating!

Below is the second reference I have seen to suspicion that Titanic bolts holding outer skin of that ship to frame were defective.
In Weak Rivets, a Possible Key to Titanicâs Doom
I remember years ago seeing on educational-type TV regarding Titanic, Air Force officer who investigated Titanic had found evidence that metals of alloy bolts had been mixed in wrong ratios.
Corrections, insights welcome.

If this Titanic II sinks, the press conference is going to have a lot of people in the background biting their lips to keep holding back laughter.
