Most people in the profession entered it to figure out their own disorders. The same is true for me. The number one symptom of a spiritual awakening (as you let go of the old to to make room for the new) is very similar to the depression/mania experienced in bipolar disorder. (It’s the parable of not putting new wine in an old wine-skin). It’s the process of owning your garbage or wounds in your soul and taking them to a higher level in prayer where they can be transmuted.

My near death experience was merely the instantaneous equivalent of the “dying daily” that Paul spoke about in the New Testament.

I’m not criticizing you for your comments Stormer... They are humorous. Ever since I learned to laugh at myself I have never run out of humor. Thank you for reminding me.

I was a university professor teaching tax law and accounting courses when I died and came back with these abilities. Must admit that I ask myself and medical professionals many times if I was crazy!!! The abilities are real and easy to demonstrate and observe in a controlled setting. This left brained logical CPA needed to understand the hard science of what I was experiencing and thus began a whole new academic career and passion for a scientific evidence based understanding of consciousness. There is far more to this body of knowledge than scientists understand.

It really gets interesting when you search for evidence based understanding of mystics. There are some simple concepts that scientists miss.

1. An individual’s perception of reality is a function of the level of consciousness from which they view it. By raising our consciousness to higher levels, intangible objects such as thoughts and stored memories become physical objects to the perception.

2. Time is not a function of the speed of light. Time is a function of the frequency of consciousness divided by the speed of light. Thus as our consciousness is cleansed of dense thoughts that keep the operational frequency low, it can increase to levels that surpass the speed of light. At that moment time collapses. A year at the earthly level is like a day at the higher levels.

The problem with scientists is that they don’t take the journey and explore consciousness, they just sit back in a fixed level of consciousness and view reality from their limited perspective. I turned to science to understand my experience. Scientists need to turn to the experience to understand their science.

Remember what Jesus said to His disciples when He sent them out. “The things that I do and even more you to shall do in my name.”
