Yep.... it’s difficult to commit to the run for an entire game, when you’re only making a yard and a half per carry.
Their running game was basically and inexplicably absent the imaginative double and triple options and misdirection plays that made Carolina the #1 scoring team in the NFL this season. It’s obvious even after two weeks of prep that the coaching staff missed the boat and revolved their game plan around their anemic passing game and failed as late as half time to realize and adjust for their mistakes.
