Certain bands insert white noise frequencies into songs that elicit certain feelings. These are subharmonic and inaudible but a sensitive person will pick up on them. Additionally they “excite” the song too. THis involves amplifying a few frequncies just above the human hearing range and it tickles your ears. Its very subtle but being Im a home recording enthusiast, I can tell when they do this. Its why crap songs like Beyonce sound pleasing yet when you break it down , the song is simple junk .
