Well, AT LAST, someone ELSE besides me KNOWS how meaningless polls are.

I was FORCED to take a couple of statistics classes in college and the LEAST reliable means of truth-finding was the ole survey. "Poll" is the latest nomenclature for "opinion" and "survey."

BTW, I LOATHED, detested, despised, abhored, deplored and otherwise HATED statistics. I got a "no pass" the first grading period and, with a friend, went to the professor and moaned and groaned. We did NOT cry. THAT would have been unethical. :o)
I got a "pity pass" and never forgot it. I ended up giving an occasional "pity pass" in my l-o-n-g teaching career...not many, but a few.
NOW, I can recall the good Lord's words about mercy.
