Because he certainly takes public information and puts his own spin on it to persuade voters to either support him or not support his opponents. His supporters do it too. How many times have I seen Trump supporters claim that Cruz supports TPP, despite his own statements that he opposes it? But they take the fact that he made one vote for TPA, and claim that vote shows that he is really for TPP, no matter what he actually says. That is actually much more dishonest than what you claim the Cruz campaign did in Iowa. So your phony outrage is a sign of hypocrisy and just an attempt to manufacture a "scandal" to try to damage Cruz.
