Did I say it was illegal or immoral or unprofessional to accept donations? No. Of course it’s not.
But it’s also not true that he is fully self-funding his campaign. I’ll leave it up to you to decide whether you think it is immoral or unprofessional for him to represent that he is self-funding when that’s not entirely true.
“But itâs also not true that he is fully self-funding his campaign.”
OK lets put that one to bed so you can go think something else up.
At 95% of his rallies Trump says he is self funding except for the small donations individuals send in which would cost more to return and probably insult people. But of course you already knew that. :-)
Thanks for playing.
He has repeatedly declared that he would not refuse the small campaign donors because they want to have a part in election, but he accepts no pac money or large donations from those seeking to purchase influence.
It is disingenuous of you to try and say he conceals his fund raising, because he has always been up front about the small donations and why he accepts them because they are nor seeking to purchase influence, they just want to participate in the election.
Oh please. he has never made any bones about the small donations. He has talked about them many times. People know he doesn’t “need” any money, but maybe we want to give? people offer him the money. He sends back or does not accept any large donations outside the small personal contributions. What people send in is a miniscule part of the total cost of running a campaign. Go pick nits elsewhere.
