The former leader of the English Defence League is now a national pariah. Perhaps he deserves it ~ or perhaps it should worry us all
A few weeks back, Tommy Robinson, former leader of the English Defence League, sent me his self-published memoirs, called Enemy of the State. The book has been largely ignored by most of the established media, although has caused a bit of a stir among counter-Jihadist groups across Europe. I'd recommend people read it, although perhaps not for the reasons Tommy would like you to.

Wish they'd make the default "title"...
You'll rarely miss. Adding additional words introduces possible data entry errors and search complications.
For instance, your article is RICH with unique words:
That is precisely what I did. The prior story in the link you provided wrongly identified Tommy as Tony in the title - hence, no hits on searching “Tommy Robinson” and the thread about his book.
Right.
Search for a SINGLE unique word. Try each of those four I posted in sequence, to see what I mean.
I didn't use "robinson" because Jim Robinson's name may occur in a fair number of article titles. :)
I used to get paid for this stuff. :)
Two of the above statements are false...can you pick which two?
==================================
Well, there are 1.6 billion Muslims in the world with Indonesia as the largest Muslim country in the world. [Google] So, you are calling all of those folks faith-less? Wow, that is quite a broad sweeping condemnation.
As for Kwanza, that sure had a short life-span, didn't it? What a joke that was.
Too bad so many nations are dependent on Arab petroleum, since MOST Arabs (but not all) are Muslim.
An old friend and I took a pilgrimage to the Holy Land with Steve Ray, a former evangelical Baptist minister-turned Catholic and one of our local tour guides was a Palestinian Arab Roman Catholic. I had to blink twice when I heard that.
Israel is run by Jewish Israelis but they rely on and hire Israeli Arabs there (mostly Muslim) to do the lion's share of manual labor. There simply aren't enough Jewish Israelis to do all the work that needs to be done in Israel...and Jewish Israelis will not wash toilets or work in restaurants washing dishes. SOMEone has to do that labor. The Jewish Israelis WILL do road work, though. Somehow, that isn't demeaning in their eyes.
Besides that many Jews live in the USA and have dual citizeship and travel freely between the USA and Israel. They were the only Americans allowed to have dual citizenship. Now the US tolerates many dual citizenships...also according to Google.
The three groups of Israelis (Jews, Muslims and Christians) get along because they have to. Interesting mix.
Every Christian OUGHT to save his/her pennies and visit the Holy Land. Steve Ray (and his wife) do the pilgrimage four times a year and they usually leave out of New York City.
There is no more Mount Calvary as the Romans took down the entire hill in the mid-4th century as there were just too many Christian pilgrims visiting there: That is just history. So, the site of the Crucificion is very close to Jesus' tomb.
I laid my already-blessed rosary down on Jesus' tomb. I still well up with tears when I think of the horrible death our good Lord endured for us. It comes to life as one enters His tomb.
The other pilgrimage I want to do is "In the Footsteps of St. Paul." We'll see.
People spread lies about a lot of thing, mm. You know that. But, truth always wins out. I think it's a sad sack of a person who feels that s/he must denigrade another's faith.
The really sad part is that SOMEONE tells young people lies. It really shows a lacuna in the liar's life when s/he has to speak badly about another person's faith. It shows me how WEAK that liar's faith life is.
I try not to judge and usually only come out with strong statements when I am asked to. God will decide on who deserves what in eternity. Don't you agree? [Rhetorical.]
Besides, I don't keep a "book." I will be judged on how I judge others...:o) I think there was a gospel and homily about that quite recently.
Odd. I recall a series of FReepmails from you recently.
Doesn’t match what you’re claiming.
Satanism is a faith. So is it's close cousin, Statism. islime is an unholy melange of the two - an exaltation of the brutal AND a system of government. I see no reason NOT to criticize these faiths and insult insult followers of same.
Nothing denigrates Islam more effectively than telling the TRUTH about it. It is a totalitarian socio-political system masquerading as a religion.
Heh, the silence is deafening........
So you are saying that all 1.6 BILLION followers of Islam are under a totalitarian socio-political system. Lol.
I haven't heard such polito-babble since my days in college. You obviously have never traveled to or lived in any Muslim country. Indonesia is the largest Muslim country in the world. I've never been there but it IS full or oriental Asians. Most Muslims are NOT Arabs.
That's a big world of hate in your heart, brother. WAY too much for one heart/soul to hold, I'd say.
God bless and keep you and take away all that hatred in your mind. It's not a Christian way of thinking, loving or behaving. What would Jesus say to you, I wonder?
Yes, you are correct. I had forgotten about the worshippers of Satan. Poor souls. They are doomed.
As for Islam hating, I wonder what Jesus would say to you about such hatred in your heart. We lived in Saudi Arabia for five years (working for ARAMCO) and didn't see that kind of hatred of Christianity that YOU hold for Islam. Not a particularly Christian attitude, IMHO.
However, you are certainly free to fill your mind, soul and heart with hatred. YOUR choice. Satan must be chuckling at all that hatred you hold on to. YOU think it's okay to insult followers of that faith. Shame on you.
SO Christian of you...(Sarc.)
Where/what is the discrepancy?
Funny that you assume I am a Christian. Any great grandchild of the Age Of Reason is capable of looking rationally at the belief systems of Christians vs Mohammedans and quickly discerning that the former presents positive societal influence and even those who are most extreme in modeling their lives on Jesus are likely to bestow love and benevolence on their fellow man. The Mohammedans are, at best, a net drag on society - again, Islam is not just a religion, it is a method of governance and a war plan - the are, in the extreme, copycats of the cult's founder - that is, pedophiliac sand pirates.
Your willingness to condemn your fellow Christians (if you really are a Christian) to martyrdom by the blade of the sand pirates, only betrays the hatred you have in your heart towards Christians. You think that's okay. Satan is chuckling indeed. You are his biggest sap.
So do you think it’s OK to spread lies about someone and yet claim you never denigrate another’s faith?
You are doing that very thing here in this thread with all the *you hater you* comments you lobbing at other FReepers on this thread.
I’m not surprised that you think that spreading lies (a fact) is not the same as *insulting* (an opinion about what an insult is) someone and you blow it off with *What does that have to do with anything* kind of mentality.
I sure do. Experienced it first hand from some FReeper I know.
I think it's a sad sack of a person who feels that s/he must denigrade another's faith.
Then why do you keep doing it?
Looks like you’re getting the *You hater* treatment from some Islam supporter. Typical liberal behavior. It’s reprehensible that people throw that out there in an effort to manipulate desired behavior out of others.
Some people will use it to intimidate and think that the Christians are going to cave and worry that *Oh no. Someone is accusing me of not being a “Christian”. I need to capitulate and act the way they are demanding.*
Total BS.
Looks like someone is hypocritically denigrating another’s faith as not being as good as hers.
Hate? No, self preservation
Truth is the new hate speech.
God bless you and yours.
God grant you JOY in your life, the joy of peace and love in Jesus.
