When Christians accept Trumps behavior, we are telling our children and grandchildren character doesn’t matter. (how come it did matter to conservatives when Bill Clinton was in office) we are legitimizing adultery, sexual promiscuity....
Psalm 1:1
How blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked, Nor stand in the path of sinners, Nor sit in the seat of scoffers!
I’m not a biblical scholar but I seem to remember something like, he who is without sin should cast the first stone; and something about a plank in the eye; also something about who should judge what’s in a man’s heart; and also something about forgiveness for past sins. I’ve also heard that God works in mysterious ways and sometimes raises up the less than perfect if it suits his purpose. Not saying any of this applies to the situation at hand, but I still don’t think a mere mortal can harm the Gospel. It is God’s immutable Word.

We are also telling them that no one is perfect and that we are not to judge others.
