The dirty tricks being played by the Cruz team are completely consistent with the creepy feeling he gives a lot of people. I do not think that it is going to work well for him in the long run. The media don’t like him and when they get wind of his sleaze campaign it will be reported. Stuff that wouldn’t stick to the Clintons will drag Mr. Pure down.
For those of you who can't understand how Christians could vote for Donald Trump, it is because he is in a better position to make the cultural changes we need to lay the groundwork for a resurgence of Christian values in government going forward. It is precisely because he is widely suspected NOT to be much of a Christian himself that he would be able to move the "Christianity" piece around on the chessboard without being suspected of trying to "establish a religion" for personal reasons.
The fact that he wants to return us to the Christian social values -- "common sense", lawful citizenship, clear distinction of how Islam is incompatible with Christianity or the Constitution, respect among nations, a healthy economy for the middle class so they can afford to raise families, reducing debt that would fall on our descendents -- I can vote for him in good conscience.
Did he cheat on his wife or wives? He has been forthcoming about that and has changed his behavior.
Can he do what he promises? At least as well as any of the professional politicians who have contributed to the mess we are in; i.e. everyone but himself and Carson.
For Biblical examples of pagan kings whom God used to establish the Judaic culture through which Christ came and the House of God in Jerusalem in which Jesus taught, see Cyrus, Darius, Ahasuerus and Artaxerxes.
