Polls showed a close race in Iowa, with Trump in the lead recently. NH polls aren’t close. If Trump was leading by 20% + in Iowa in the polls and this occurred then I could agree that the NH poll lead doesn’t account for much, but that wasn’t the case.
Narrowly.
He's up 22 points in NH. Cruz is second with 11%. He, Kasich, Rubio and Christie are just a couple of points apart. If Cruz doesn't get a good bump from his win he could come in third after Trump and Rubio. It's so close he could come in fourth or fifth if the inevitable negative attacks from the GOPe work. They're going to want to clear the field fast to make it Rubio vs. Trump.
